Insider threats are not always maliciously motivated—if anything, accidental or negligent disregard for security best practices poses a greater risk.

    • Falling prey to a social engineering or email phishing attack,

    • Posting or revealing a high-profile executive travel schedule,

    • Leaving company remote electronic devices or sensitive paperwork unsecured,

    • Posting inappropriate remarks on social media that could reflect poorly on the organization; or

    • Allowing ‘tailgating’ through an access-controlled entry.

Security should be everyone’s responsibility in an organization's community – just like at your home.

Taking security seriously and reinforcing through training & awareness strategies shows your 'community' you care about their protection - and yours.
